For some reason I’ve never been the greatest DX fan so reviewing this DVD release isn’t the easiest of jobs. I think the big problem is Triple H, I love the guy as a heel so seeing him as a jokey face isn’t really my cup of tea. So here we have virtually seven hours for me to try and get through but a reviewer’s got to do what a reviewer’s got to do. Ok some of the material on this three-disc collection is pretty funny and even some of that is thanks to Hornswoggle, especially the Little People’s court. These may be PG days in WWE but PC isn't in the WWE dictionary yet. Match quality is always going to be high with Shawn Michaels and Triple H in the vicinity. We may have been given a break from Triple H hogging the World title but there was no way DX were going to play second fiddle to anyone. So just as The Spirit Squad before them were squashed on a weekly basis there was never going to be a happy endings for Legacy, The Hart Dynasty or JeriShow. That’s the problem when you put two together two of the most successful wrestlers (sorry Vince I know I shouldn’t use that word) in recent years. Their opponents may well offer some kind of threat (though we don’t get to see Legacy defeating DX at ‘Bragging Rights’) but we know how the feuds going to end. There's some good matches here though so that's a huge bonus for the DVD. The matches covered take in a short and recent period of time so you don’t exactly need the memory of an elephant to remember all of the action here. Definitely a case of WWE making as much money out of a dying duo while they can but if you love DX then this is for you.
